  • 1997, SVEZA was founded.
  • 1997, The Ust-Izhora plywood mill (UIFK) joins the SVEZA. 
  • 1998, SVEZA achieves an expansion of its activities through acquisition of logging operations.
  • 1999, The Fanplit plywood mill, Kostroma, joins the SVEZA.
  • 2001, Fanplit starts up a production line for laminated particleboard manufacturing.
  • 2001, UIFK starts up a production line for big-size plywood manufacturing.
  • 2001, Fanplit's quality assurance system has been ISO-9001 certified.
  • 2002, A new facility, Fanplit-2, is opened for big-size plywood manufacturing.
  • 2002, The Novator plywood mill, Velikiy Ustyug, joins the SVEZA.
  • 2003, UIFK's quality assurance system has been ISO-9001 certified.
  • 2005, A special project is established for I-beam selling.
  • 2005, Fanplit launches the second priority: capacities for big size plywood production are being expanded  
  • 2005, UIFK starts up new facilities for film faced plywood manufacturing.
  • 2005, Fanplit receives a Forest Stewardship Council's Chain of Custody (FSC CoC) certificate.
  • 2006, UIFK starts up new facilities for 4õ8 size plywood manufacturing.
  • 2006, The Perm plywood mill (PFK) joins the SVEZA.
  • 2006, UIFK receives a Forest Stewardship Council's Chain of Custody (FSC CoC) certificate.
  • 2007, Manturovo plywood mill joins the SVEZA.
  • 2007, the Finnish company UPM and SVEZA team up to prepare a modern pulp mill project.
