OAO UIFK, plywood mill in Ust-Izhora

Logo UIFK The UIFK was established in 1910. Its first owner was V.L. Khorvat, a process engineer.

1935, the facility is upgraded to rank with the major state-owned plywood mills in the USSR.

1949, the first export delivery is carried out.

1951, the facility undergoes restructuring and recovers its pre-WWII production output rate.

UIFK-made plywood has been used for the construction of Rossiya Hotel, Moscow, the Palace of Congresses in the Moscow Kremlin, Oktyabrskiy Concert Hall, St Petersburg, all St Petersburg metro stations and a few ones in other cities of the world.

1997, UIFK joins the Sveza Group.

The mill holds FSC COC, ISO, EN (CE-mark) and BFU-100 international certificates.
